Jr NBA Malaysia 2015

Jr NBA is back!~
The 2nd edition of the Jr. NBA 2015...
Is launched...
At Malaysian Basketball Association Stadium (MABA)

That promotes basketball participation,
And active lifestyle,

Was jointly officiated by Dr Mehander Sigh,
Along with Ms Saw & Mr Francesco Suarez..


Milk-toasting session!~

2014 Jr NBA Malaysia All-Stars...
With VIPs...

The program tipped off,
With a coaches clinic,
That garnered over 140 participating coaches...
From all around Malaysia..

The event also brought together,
The 2014 Jr. NBA Malaysia All-Stars,
Who were the first from the country,
To embark on the NBA experience to Beijing last year..

This year's program,
Includes additional clinics,
Leading up to the selection camp,
In May 30-31,
Where the top 40 boys and top 24 girls,
Aged 10 to 14,
Will be chosen,
Following a series of skills and character assessments,
To participate in the Jr NBA National Training Camp,
In Kuala Lumpur on June 11-13..
The National Training Camp,
Which will once again be attended by an NBA player or legend,
And feature NBA Cares community outreach,
Including a three-day intensive training schedule,
And culminating with the selection of 10 boys and 4 girls,
Who will be named 2015 Jr. NBA Malaysia All-Stars!

Sports clinics/events like this one are great. Thinking abotut signing up my only boy when he's old enough. Basketball or maybe soccer. :)

I'm all for basketball and sports, which promotes team work and encourages kids to yes, stay away from drugs and on the streets. It's great how the NBA uses its influence to promote the game and the sport, especially to the youth. I believe it will do a lot of good.

I wonder why I do not notice this in my country, who really loves basketball. My son is a varsity player for their school in basketball. He may learn more skills in a workshop like this.

Great event! Would love to send my boy(s) to this kins of event. Basketball is also well loved sports in our country. I grew up in a place that has basketball court every where.haha

I think these special events are a great way to build community. They get people to come out and support events that benefit kids.

We also have Jr. NBA events in the Philippines. I really appreciate how they find talents through their program.

We also have it here in Manila that league. Its nice to see these kids getting fit and being sports oriented this summer.
